Hi! I’m Maija!
Pronounced like Maya - don’t worry everyone always asks me how to say it. It isn’t just you ;)
I’m an Online Business Manager for Female Entrepreneurs - esp those with big visions and goals but need someone to balance it all out. I love to organize, streamline, and learn #allthetime.
When people ask me what I do, it’s hard because being someone behind the scenes - my job is really to figure things out. Do the research + strategy for each business. (It’s why I can only take on a couple of monthly clients!)
Think of me as your right-hand gal. A Cheerleader and Strategist combined.
I can’t wait to get to know you, but if you are curious about me - read a glimpse of my story below!
My Story
I didn’t actually plan on being an entrepreneur. Let’s back up a little bit (get ready for a Mai-story, aka a long-winded story. Hopefully it’ll be interesting enough HAHA)
I went to school for Exercise Physiology and actually got a job at a hospital working just as that (I got to work primarily with cardiac patients and athletes). Then they laid tons of people off. After a year of working miscellaneous jobs - I got another dream job at a wellness center.
Turns out they needed someone to help with social media and marketing - and gave me an opportunity to learn about it all! I dove deep in learning, took classes, bought the online courses, did all the things. I learned so much in those 3 years.
HERE WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING: I was 37 weeks pregnant and my husband got an offer for his dream job. We had to up and move 7+ hours away right then. My job kept me on because they loved my work - and I found out that I was able to do everything I needed remotely.
But I wanted to help more people, and I ENJOYED everything I was doing. So I started a business.
I invested some big bucks into a program, because I knew it would help me not turn back.
Days after paying the big bill, the pandemic hit. Everything was shut down.
That same DAY, I found out I was pregnant with baby #2. (They are 18 months a part)
Talk about a whirlwind. I couldn’t have told you up from down, but I did keep moving.
I became an Online Business Manager (and basically the COO) of a few amazing brands. I let them all know I would be taking a 10 week maternity leave at the end of the year. And I hustled my butt off to be able to do it.
I’m a planner and love to have things organized and done in THE MOST efficient way possible. So that’s what I do know. I’m the organizer. the behind the scenes mover and shaker. the right-hand gal.
And now here we are. Getting to spend time with my favorite people, living a simple life (can you tell we aren’t fancy over here?), while getting to help people the best way I know how!
